FAQ’S

A psychologist provides therapy and counseling to help individuals cope with emotional and behavioral challenges. They use talk therapy, behavioral techniques, and psychological assessments but do not prescribe medication. A psychiatrist, on the other hand, is a medical doctor who specializes in mental health and can prescribe medications when needed.
Many people associate mental health treatment with medications, but psychologists focus on non-medical interventions like therapy, counseling, and behavior modification. If medication is required, a psychologist may refer the individual to a psychiatrist for further evaluation.
Therapy helps individuals understand their emotions, develop coping mechanisms, and improve relationships. It is beneficial for anyone dealing with stress, anxiety, trauma, or simply seeking self-improvement. Therapy is not just for those in crisis—it’s for anyone who wants to lead a healthier, more balanced life.
Not at all! Just like we exercise and eat well to keep our bodies healthy, our minds also need care. Seeking therapy or mental health support doesn’t mean something is "wrong" with you—it simply means you value your well-being.
